Sergey does outstanding work! He has installed and refinished hardwood flooring for me before. When I experienced water damage to my kitchen floor due to a faulty refrigerator valve, there was no question who I wanted to repair and refinish my floors. Sergey promptly responded to my call for help and coordinated effectively with another contractor who removed and reinstalled cabinets over the damaged floor. All the hardwood flooring (kitchen, foyer, hallway, and sewing room) had to be refinished so the replacement flooring and existing floor color would match. After Sergey completed his work I could not tell where the repair work was done. Everything match seamlessly and the flooring looks great! I would recommend WA Hardwood Specialist to anyone and would use them again.

Our hardwood floor had water damage and needed refinishing. The damaged area was removed. the sub floor was dried out. New flooring was supplied as needed, doing a good match job. He was very particular about the drying process and moisture content of the sub floor. We like the finished product.

It was awesome. They wouldn’t put the floors in till the moisture level had been reduced by other contractors that were working on the job as well. They have great attention to detail.

Sergie was great to work with! He was helpful with our selection of flooring that coordinated with the wood that we already had, and attentive to every detail along the way. I would definitely recommend WA Hardwood, for either resurfacing or installing new flooring, he is hardworking and very attentive to detail! We love our new and resurfaced floors! (We purchased the flooring, price we paid included removal of carpet and some old wood flooring, installation of new, and resurfacing of old. We were happy with the price.)

'This is the 2nd time I used WA Hardwood. They refinished our existing hardwoods in the main floor (Maple). Did a great job so we used them again for new hardwood flooring in the upstairs which was also 3/4 Maple. So whats considered a great job? well obviously its got to look great which it did but also there are other elements to "great" such as on time every day, staying within the bid with no additional charges, no damage to walls etc. Another important aspect is minimal dust. They have a modern dustless sanding process which works well. As they note dustless is not totally dustless but it sure is close. With all the sanding they have to do its quite remarkable. Also they use 3 coats of Swedish finish vs some outfits that put two coats down. Also don't believe the outfits that say Poly coatings are as good as Swedish finish. Poly coatings are better for the installer but not better for the Homeowner. The only drawback with Swedish is its so toxic when curing you need to find a place to stay when the 3 coats are being applied (3 days)...or live in a basement... but so worth it. Thumbs up to WA Hardwoods!

Sergy and WA Hardwood Specialists did a fantastic job installing my wood floors. I would highly recommend this company. His measurement of my floors and how much material I would need was spot on! He was a huge help in getting the material to my house so I didn't have to pick up the wood from the dealer since I don’t have a truck. First, he installed a plywood underlayment and did a fabulous job on leveling the floor to my already existing tile. Then he expertly picked the right boards to make the pattern look very random and natural. He also rejected some boards that were not up to his standards and went to great lengths to make sure everything looked consistent in color. I was impressed by his ability to get so close to the baseboard with the new flooring, I hardly have to put molding on. I should also mention, that we have a curved wall in our library and Sergy was able to cut the baseboard so as to slip the new flooring underneath and did not have to resort to taking off the molding, saving me a lot of money and it looks great! I asked him how he did that and he said he has a special tool that most other floor installers don't have that makes him able to do tricky installs much more efficiently. Sergy is also meticulous when it comes to cleaning up after each phase of installation and at the end of every work day. He was fair and kept to his word about pricing which by the way is absolutely reasonable as I had a couple of estimates prior to hiring WA Hardwood Specialists and his prices were the best. And finally, if time is a problem for you, he is willing to try to accommodate your time frame and try to adjust his schedule to help you out. When I needed to contact him he was available most of the time and if not, he would call, text or email me back within a few minutes. I would absolutely hire this company again! Thank you Sergey!

We chose WA Hardwood Specialists (and worked with Sergey) because they provided the most detailed cost estimate and schedule and because of their Angie\'s List rating. The amount of flooring work required was unusually large and we are very picky so we had a number of worries going into this project. It turned out that our worries were unfounded. Sergey was very knowledgeable and did a nice job of explaining our options each step along the way. He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. The grain and color match between the new hardwood flooring and the existing hardwood flooring is literally perfect (even though the original manufacturer does not make the exact same product anymore). Finally, as for the basics we want from anyone who does work in our home - honesty, punctuality, cleanliness - Sergey was top notch. Overall, the result is an A+ and we highly recommend WA Hardwood Specialists and Sergey.

Sergey is a very professional tradesman who I believe takes his work personally. He gave us a good price, did the work when he said he would, and with high quality and attention to detail. He is direct and to the point....... we didn't hire him to be warm & fuzzy. I would most definitely recommend him for hardwood flooring.

Sergy gave us an estimate that was very fair and lower than 2 others, AND, more impressively, he noticed some warped boards in our powder room that extended out into our hallway, which indicated a long, slow leak. His estimate included removing these boards and replacing them with matching white oak and was very knowledgeable about what brand they were and making sure he got a great match with our existing flooring. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He delivered exactly what he said he would, when he said he would, and did a fantastic job!!
